In the “Who Can Piss Off More People” episode, the British Columbia Human Rights Commission accused Kenny Hotz of hate speech crimes for his actions in the episode. To win the contest, Kenny paid to have a plane fly over Toronto dragging a banner that reads "Jesus Sucks"…. Effectively pissing off “the whole city”. The case is still pending a decision.

Tipping edited the “water montage” sequence for the DreamWorks SKG film “The Tuxedo” starring Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

He was not credited.

In 2000, Tipping made a documentary about Canadian Icon Al Waxman. Frustrated with the country’s infatuation with Al Waxman, Tipping took a humorous journey to find out the truth behind the man… and the legend.

At the end of the film the screen goes to black. Then, Al Waxman appears sitting in a chair staring at the camera. He says, “Hi, I’m Al Waxman, and I’m an actor, writer and director”. Within the year, Al Waxman had died (Jan. 18, 2001), making this interview with Tipping one of Waxman's final public interviews and appearances.

During the shooting of Inspired by Bach: The Music Garden with Yo-Yo Ma, Tipping was asked to “sit in” for Yo-Yo Ma. Yo-Yo gave Tipping his world famous cello and joked “You drop it, you buy it”.
